Past CKCA President Lee Graham 1973 Coupe

"Lee Graham is the proud owner of this "Car of the Month". The car is an Orange 1973 Corvette which was purchased new in 1974. The power plant is a 350CID Corvette engine with an Lt-1 intake manifold and cam. Harland Sharp's roller rockers put the push in the push rods while a 780CFM Holley Carb sets atop the intake, supplying the go juice mixture. An Lt-1 suspension makes for good handling on this car while 4:88 rear end gears convert the torque to the rear wheels. American Vector Mag wheels with B.F. Goodrich Radial T.A. tires supply the shoe power. This super clean car is not only used for autocrossing but is also equipped for comfort as it is driven to work daily. Air conditioning, power steering and power brakes make life easier in the already luxurious vette. It is also equipped with a Kraco 23 channel Citizens Band Radio so Lee can talk to fellow Corvetters and other friends. His "handle" of Salt Miner is quite appropriate as he is employed by the Carey Salt Company. Lee is a foreman at the mine and has been employed by the Carey Salt Company for the past 14 years. He makes his home at 726 West 15th, where he lives by himself. This means he's eligible, ladies! Lee's hobbies include tinkering on his own cars and assisting Dale Horne of Pizza Hut fame with his Formula Ford Race car. Dale is a SCCA national driver while Lee serves on the pit crew. Lee and Dale sometimes travel throughout the United States in their search for new thrills and competition. Lee is an active and valuable member of the CKCA and has been since 1975. Congratulations, Lee. Yours is the Car of the Month and is well deserving of the honor."
