"This orange '77 Vette is owned by Steven and Margaret Bernard. The car was purchases in August, 1976 at Thorabred Chevrolet in Wichita, Kansas. It is equipped with the high performance (?) optional engine with an automatic transmission. Other options on this car are: Air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, cruise control and leather interior.
"Corvettes are not new to the Bernard's as this makes their nineth one. Steve has owned a 1963, two 1965's, a '67, '68, '69, '70, '71 and now this Super-Sharp '77. For those who don't know Steve and Margaret Bernard, Steve owns his own trucking company, a pallet repair business, and Margaret is a licensed beautician at Kuttin Korner, here in Hutchinson. Steve was one of the charter members of the CKCA, and is one of the few still in the club of the original members. Steve bought this vette for Margaret as a combination birthday present and graduation gift when she graduated from Sid's Hairdressing College. Margaret thoroughly enjoys her new car, and says she wouldn't trade it for anything. Congratulations on the purchase of your new vette and we're proud to have it in the club."
