POST-EVENT RECAP
What a great day for The Nightingales’ Dine & Drive!
Our group of 13 Corvettes and 23 people began the morning with a photo opportunity at the Veterans Memorial in South Hutchinson. From there, we enjoyed a leisurely drive through the Kansas countryside to the Lumber Yard Steakhouse in Zenda.
We had a wonderful lunch, and the people of Zenda made our visit especially enjoyable. Several locals stopped to admire the cars, take pictures, and visit with us—and the Lumber Yard even shared our visit on its Facebook page!
After lunch, we continued to Pratt to visit the WWII B-29 Bomber Training Memorial. We took more group photos and spent time viewing the aircraft, monuments, and historical artifacts on display.
Beautiful cars, great food, Kansas history, and even better company made for a memorable day. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
