John Denney reviewed the trip to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. An enjoyable time visiting Big Brutus, the Pea Ridge Military Battlefield and Museum, and good food stops on the way. At McFarlain’s Restaurant in Branson, the group had a good laugh with the growing table. A prank table controlled by staff, left a few of our members sitting with elbows in the air. Making the trip were Terry Brigman, Roger and Janet Crabill, John Denney, Darwin and Nadine Henry, Tom Klassen, Dennis Nicklin and Karen Ukens, Wayne and Marcia Strawder, and Ray and Audrey Wright. Thanks goes to Darwin and Nadine for planning and making reservations for the trip.

Itinerary:
Day 1 – Monday, May 6th, 2019: Visited Big Brutus and Museum in West Mineral, KS. Stopped at the Old Route 66 gas station in Baxter Springs, KS. Continued to the Marsh Arch Rainbow Bridge on Route 66 in Baxter Springs, KS. Drove on Old Route 66 to Galena, KS.
Day 2 – Tuesday, May 7th, 2019: Stopped at Pea Ridge Military Park in Garfield, AR. Visited Thorncrown Chapel as we drove to Eureka Springs, AR.
Day 3 – Wednesday, May 8th, 2019: Rainy day. Took a drive around Eureka Springs. Visited the Crescent Hotel In Eureka Springs.
Day 4 – Thursday, May 9th, 2019: Drove from Eureka Springs, AR to Branson, MO. Stopped at Inspiration Tower In Branson.
