Lake Point Show & Shine June 2023
Karen Ukens joined Wayne and Marcia Strawder at South Hutchinson to leave to the show and shine at Lake Point Senior Home in Wichita. Roger and Joan Gibson met up at Lake Point. Several other car clubs filled the parking lot with over 40 cars of all kinds. Lake Point staff and residents appreciated our attendance. Before heading home, the group enjoyed a wonderful meal at Felipe’s Mexican Restaurant. Thanks to everyone that participated.

Smoky Valley Classic Car Show 2020
It was a good day for the CKCA at Lindsborg’s Smoky Valley Classic Car Show, August 1, 2020. Three cars were entered and three cars were awarded best in their class. Receiving plaques were Joel Weide – 1984 silver coupe, Doyle Keffer – 2008 black convertible, and Wayne and Marcia Strawder – 1976 red Stingray. The weather was in the 80’s and pleasant under the shade trees of Swenson Park. They had a large turnout of 147 entrants.
July 2019 Smoky Valley Classic Car Show
Lindsborg’s Smoky Valley Classic Car Show held Saturday was another success held in their city park. Entered were 143 cars and trucks. Four CKCA Corvettes left Hutchinson to meet up with 2 other members at the shady Swenssen Park. Receiving plaques for best in their classes were Joel Weide, and Debby and Jim Gruver. Other members attending were Terry Brigman, Ray Wright, Dennis Nicklin, Wayne and Marcia Strawder.
